Android is an operating system which is based on the free and open
source code of Linux, and it is mainly used in mobile devices, such as smart

most people of China mainland always admit “Anzhuo” or “Anzhi” as its Chinese
name.

as a part of Google injection. In November 2007, Google and 84 groups of hardware
manufacturers, software developers and Telecom operators built the open mobile
phone alliance to jointly develop and modify Android system. Then Google
released the source code of Android through authorizing the Apache open source
license. The first part of the Android intelligent mobile phone released in
October 2008. After that, the Android gradually extended to the tablet computer
and other areas, such as television, digital cameras, game consoles. The first
quarter of 2011, Android ranking the first in the world for the first time
exceeded the Symbian system in global market share. According to the data from November
2012, the Android dominates 76% share of the the global intelligent mobile
phone operating system market, especially in Chinese, it takes 90% market share.

The word "Android" means a “robot", and it is also the
name of open source mobile phone operating system which is based on Linux
platform and announced by Google in November 5, 2007. The Linux platform consists
of the operating system, middleware, user interface and application software.
The word "Android" first appeared in the French writer
Adam published in 1886 science fiction "the future Eve" (L'è ve

selected ten most important electronic products for the twenty-first Century,
Android operating system and iPhone are on the list.
